The Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia’s popular youth oriented interactive website, notworthit.ca, has received an international award. The American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds presented its annual Communications Awards to the best, most creative and effective communications programs from various compensation boards and insurance funds throughout North America.

There is a new breed of advertising causing marketers to rethink the rules for consumer participation.  It has been dubbed Consumer Generated Media, or CGM.  It allows online audience members to create brand-controlled content - and other like-minded individuals to view it - essentially interacting and reinforcing their relationship with a brand.
